The album was completed about mid-December 2023. Initially, I worked on the themes of parallel worlds, spiritual worlds, order, the extraordinary, and the unreality. I intended to create a sound narrative on these themes. And I was thinking of various album titles and track names. I wanted to give the album title and track titles like an epic story. It was going to be a rather complex album title and track titles.
However, on January 1, 2024, there was a major earthquake on the Noto Peninsula in Japan. Kanazawa, located on the Noto Peninsula, was the city where I had spent my elementary and high school years.
This earthquake made me think that everyday life is much more important than grand stories. Everyday life is fleeting. Everyday life is impermanent. All of the songs on this album were created as part of a story, but I thought they could also be interpreted as fragments of everyday life. The result is a very simple album title and song titles. This is fine.
